Elliott converted both field-goal attempts and both PATs in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Rams.

Shipley rushed six times for 23 yards and didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Rams. He also returned three kickoffs for 65 yards.

Johnson was inactive for Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Rams due to a personal issue, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.

Hurts completed 12 of 27 passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns while rushing five times for 18 yards in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Rams.

Greenard (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game against the Rams.

Bigsbu (undisclosed) left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter and went to the sideline tent, Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Williams caught three of eight targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Colts.

Diggs caught five of nine targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Colts.

Mitchell (knee) is questionable to return against the Rams on Sunday.

Croskey-Merritt carried the ball nine times for a season-low 15 yards and caught two of four targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 30-13 loss to the Colts.
The Eagles have a decisive advantage up front in this matchup with Larmey Tunsil out for the Commanders. While Jonathan Greenard will not suit up, Philadelphia is still stacked in the front seven, going up a quarterback in Jayden Daniels who has only covered one of his last eight road games. There are obvious concerns with the Eagles: new offensive system, no A.J. Brown, potential continuation of Jalen Hurts’ decline. Still, the offensive line and Saquon Barkley are healthy, DeVonta Smith is ready to become WR1, and Makai Lemon should add an explosive element. We’re not getting the best number here, but 4.5-5.5 is a dead zone anyway.

Caesar’s. Eagles 2025 first round pick Jihaad Campbell enters this season as an unquestioned starter at off-ball linebacker. Last season he ceding that position to a Nakobe Dean who was returning from injury. When he played the majority of the snaps, he cleared this line in 7/10 games. The Commanders have been a positive opponent for linebacker tackles each of the past two seasons and should continue as such with dual-threat Jayden Daniels taking the snaps. At plus-odds, this is great value on a talented player in an ascending role.
I look at this Washington team and come away completely underwhelmed with the current construction of their OL without Laremy Tunsil. David Blough is a rising star at offensive coordinator but this is a big task against a Vic Fangio defense. I don't think Washington does much on the offensive side here with a ceiling of 17 points. However we missed the best of it (20 or better) so we're downgrading the bet to just a half position here

We believe the versatile White will emerge as the most valuable back for the Commanders, who are using a committee. At the least, he will be the passing-downs back and, it what rates to be a trailing game script, should get a few targets. He could get this on one play but we think he will coast comfortably past this meager number.

I know the Eagles will want to show off their new offense, but they have spoken about getting better running the ball, and that's easy for them to do this week with their offensive line healthy, Saquon Barkley healthy, and Jalen Hurts is expected to run more too. That should be advantageous versus a Commanders defense that added a total stud in Sonny Styles but surrounded him with some suspect run stoppers, particularly up front. If the Eagles play with a lead, which I expect, Hurts won't be asked to throw a lot and can be eased into the new passing scheme over time, not in Week 1. I'd consider under 28.5 also.

FanDuel. Stefon Diggs will make his Commanders debut in Week 1. As the Patriots lead receiver last season, he stayed under this line in 11/21 games. Now likely to be second in terms or targets to Terry McLaurin, Diggs is likely to operate more on the underneath routes. And this sets up to be a brutal matchup against the Eagles secondary - Diggs will lineup against Cooper DeJean in the slot, or Riq Woolen or Quinyon Mitchell on the outside. The Eagles only allowed 40 catches of 15+ air yards in 2025 as is (before they upgraded with Woolen) at. 35.4% catch rate (both the third lowest marks). I’d bet this down to under 17.5.
The Philadelphia Eagles have a ginormous advantage over Washington in the trenches, and it’s not particularly close. Washington’s offensive line is weakened by injuries and lacks the chemistry needed to contain the Eagles' front seven. Philadelphia’s defensive line, led by Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis, is set to exploit this weakness. In their last four matchups, the Eagles have run wild, piling up 875 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns at nearly six yards per carry. Last season, Washington managed to convert just 15.2% of their late downs. And that was with a better offensive line than they have now. Eagles should win comfortably, so I will swallow 4.5 points. My model has the Eagles winning by 8 points (24-16).
This line seems like it's going to move in one direction, so it's time to stop waiting and hop on now. It seems the Washington offense is going to struggle this season based on practice reports, and this is a terrible matchup to be in questionable form. The Eagles have questions around their offense with A.J. Brown's departure, but they ran for 207 yards in their meaningful game against Washington last year. I honestly think we'll look back on this line and wonder why it wasn't north of a touchdown.
If you believe games are won and lost in the trenches, then the Eagles are probably the best pick in all of Week 1. Having Jayden Daniels won’t mean much with the NFL’s worst offensive line trying to stop the group of monsters the Eagles have across the ball. Meanwhile, Saquon Barkley should find opportunities, opening things up for Jalen Hurts and a new group of targets that doesn’t include A.J. Brown. The Eagles haven’t always looked sharp to start seasons, so they’ll need to overcome that bad habit. But this has the makings of a wipeout.

DraftKings. There’s been a lot of talk about Jalen Hurts running more this season in new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion’s offense. Reports out of camp are that Hurts looks great, and with AJ Brown now in New England, it does make sense for Philadelphia to utilize Hurts’ legs behind the strength of their offensive line. This all being said, this is a very low line - Hurts cleared this line in 9/16 games last season, his lowest rushing output as a starting quarterback. Between the possibilities of tush pushes and kneel downs, I’d bet this up to over 7.5 for plus +105 or better (partial unit).
