ANALYSIS: The Mets finish their series in Miami on Sunday. ...
ANALYSIS: Merrill Kelly isn't fully stretched out yet. ...
ANALYSIS: We all know how explosive the Oilers offense can be, and I think they take advantage of John Gibson and the Ducks. Gibson already gave up six goals to the Oilers this season. So if that happens again, and the Ducks can get a couple on the board, we'll have ourselves an easy over. Both games between these teams have had at least seven goals scored.
ANALYSIS: The first 20,000 fans at T-Mobile Park tonight will receive a Julio Rodríguez AL Rookie of the Year Bobblehead so there's no way the Mariners lose. Right? Right? Seattle's Logan Gilbert could be one of those guys who comes out full bore from spring as he had a 0.40 ERA last April, the lowest ERA in a month in Mariners history. Cleveland's Aaron Civale was 1-5 with a 5.88 ERA on the road last year. He wasn't good in his Seattle outing (4ER, 6.1 IP).
ANALYSIS: For some reason, the Hawks have played well behind Alex Stalock; especially at home, where he's 8-4-1. Vitek Vanecek shut out Chicago earlier this season, but he's been on the decline lately and has a 3.60 GAA in his last five on the road. While I would be surprised to see the Hawks end their seven-game losing streak tonight, I do think they get a couple on the board. The over is 8-1-1 the last 10 times these teams have faced off in Chicago. I like this play at even money or better.
ANALYSIS: Miami might be the most disrespected ACC regular-season champion in NCAA Tournament history as the Canes were barely Round 1 favorites vs. Drake and haven't come close to being favored since. Yes, UM will be at a size disadvantage here, but it also was vs. Texas and the Canes' stellar backcourt took control. That could easily happen again. And maybe Huskies guard Jordan Hawkins is well less than 100 percent with the illness that kept him out of practice on Friday.
ANALYSIS: LA will let Kawhi Leonard play the second of a back-to-back after he was limited to 18 minutes Friday but realistically how many minutes will he be good for tonight considering he hasn't played a B2B in so long? Eric Gordon joins Paul George and Marcus Morris as out for LA.
ANALYSIS: The Flyers have actually been really good lately, having scored three or more goals in eight straight games. They've beaten the Sabres twice this season, and I'd take them on the money line if Felix Sandstrom wasn't in net. Sandstrom has given up at least four goals in three of his last four games and has a 3.48 GAA on the season. Matched against Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (3.63 GAA), I like this game to go over. Neither the Flyers nor the Sabres play a lot of defense, so we should see a high-scoring matchup.
ANALYSIS: Hardy caught the attention of the league with his impressive performance in March. He scored 20 or more points in six games and showed that he can be a key player for Dallas. Yet, this is crunch time for the Mavericks, who are on the outside looking in for the play-in round of the postseason. Expect Hardy’s minutes to diminish until Dallas is officially eliminated from playoff contention.
ANALYSIS: Incentive to qualify for the postseason has trumped point spreads the past several days. The Pelicans have been one of the best examples, as they have won six of their past seven games, and they surrendered a 20-point lead to the Warriors in the loss. Yet, this is a spot where I believe the veteran Clippers will rise to the occasion after a poor showing Friday against the Grizzlies. Take the points here in a close game.
ANALYSIS: The Mariners had a disastrous pitching performance in Friday's 9-4 loss to the Guardians. As a whole, their pitching staff threw 199 pitches, with Robbie Ray chased after just 3 1/3 innings. Yet, the Mariners have had a knack for bouncing back, especially at home. Seattle defeated the Guardians in six of seven matchups last season. Take the Mariners.
