Forward Gui Santos will start for Golden State, and I like him to grab six or more rebounds at plus money. In his last two meetings with the Clippers, Santos collected seven rebounds (17 minutes) and 10 rebounds (31 minutes). Based on the personnel the Warriors are rolling with, look for the high-motor Santos to be active on the glass.
Just not my NBA year, clearly. Even the excellent Mike Barner told me in a DM off-site he can't bet sides this year because of all the tanking -- but Mike, our Bulls just got that second first-round pick from Portland! (Chicago will trade it for a bag of magic legumes and Kendrick Perkins.) Alas, I am not as good as Mike is at player props. So probably my quietest betting NBA year in a long while. Let's try this, though. Maybe there's some Steph/Kristaps magic in a pick-and-roll. They have barely played together. And Curry can always go for fitty. Also maybe Steve Kerr's last game as coach as I mentioned in the newsletter. This is just a flier, obviously, not a prediction.

Warriors' mainstay Draymond Green had gone over 5.5 assists in each of his last five games, averaging 8.0 APG over this time. He's also gone over the assist prop in both appearances vs. the Clippers this season, averaging 7.3. Steph Curry is back for Golden State, which means fewer shots for Green and more assists as a facilitator.

Podziemski seems like a player that can fly under the radar, then produce. LA will focus on finally healthy Steph Curry and Kristaps Porzinigs. Podziemski has scored 14-plus points in 10 of 11, the lone blip a meaningless season-ended vs. these Clippers. LA has a stout defense overall, but shooting guard has been a spot where opponents can produce.

Stephen Curry and Kristaps Porzingis are both expected to play Wednesday. Even with the team’s two best scoring options in and out of the lineup down the stretch, Draymond Green recorded at least six assists in seven of his last eight games. He should play a lot and is the main facilitator of the Warriors’ offense, so I’ll pay the juice and take this over.
