The Jets activated Patrick (groin) from injured reserve Saturday.

The Bears elevated Scott from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Elliott (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers.

McDonald (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Enagbare (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

The Jets remain without two key offensive weapons, putting an even bigger burden on Garrett Wilson. He drew 13 targets last week and should get at least 10 in Chicago. The Bears play a high rate of man coverage, and Geno Smith looks for Wilson against man. With the Jets potentially playing from behind, Wilson should go Over his receiving yards prop again.
Aaron Glenn’s Jets defense is second in total yards (258.3), third against the pass (171.0), and seventh against the run (87.3). Before facing the Lions juggernaut, Jets held both the Packers and Titans to under 200 yards and 10 and 20 points. Chicago's offense is likely somewhere in between, and one Aaron Glenn was around when he was with Ben Johnson in Detroit. After 59 points and 552 yards at 7.9 per play, Bears have combined for 30 points, averaged 336 yards per game and 4.8 per play They've proven they are QB proof with Case Keenum, but they won't be as explosive and the running game only gained 3.7 yards per rush on Monday Night with 50% of the yards on last drive.
This spread is where I would project it based on my power ratings, but there's one key element that makes me want to play the Bears while we still can get the key number, and that's coaching. Ben Johnson is one of the best in the league, as is evidenced by Chicago's throttling of the Eagles with Case Keenum seeing his first action since 2023. On the other side, Aaron Glenn is inconsistent at best, having an awful Week 2 to deny his team a win but rallying the Jets back to tie the Lions late last week. With Breece Hall week to week, I'll trust the Bears to limit Geno Smith's ability to put up points, while Chicago can seemingly score with any QB.
I love the Jets in this spot getting over a field goal. The Bears were sky-high against the Eagles on Monday night with their third-string QB, Case Keenum, starting. I think it will be hard to generate that same emotion against the Jets. New York is 1-2, but really just a couple of plays away from being 3-0. Geno Smith is playing well, and the Eagles had a lot of success running the football before falling behind in the second half. I think the Jets can shorten this game, limit Chicago's offensive possessions, and keep this within three points.
