The Ravens are healthier this week but this simply feels like a statement game of sorts for the Steelers off that wretched loss last week and with Kenny Pickett struggling so badly. Pittsburgh has had the upper hand in this rivalry of late and they are always close -- the underdog is 22-5-3 ATS when it's Mike Tomlin vs. John Harbaugh.

There are moments when Kenny Pickett looks fantastic and unfortunately way more when he doesn't. The key here is getting Baltimore ahead early. Concern for this prop if the Ravens control the ball and clock too long, we need as many opportunities and pass attempts as possible, that said the longer this game goes the better our chances become.
Give me the home dog Pittsburgh +4.5. In this rivalry five of the past eight games in Pittsburgh have been decided by three points or less. The Steelers have won five of the last six meetings. Baltimore's injury list continues to grow. Mike Tomlin will have his team in this game with a chance to win.

It seems like oddsmakers are forgetting this is an RB1 now. With JK Dobbins out, this has been Edwards backfield, a backfield they are using heavier than most expected. The Ravens are still averaging over 150 yards a game, running the ball more than passing, Edwards his RB1, and his line has only gone up 14 yards despite all of that. This line hasn't adjusted enough for Edwards, get the value while you can.
I am not a fan of a banged up Kenny Pickett giving it a go against a Ravens defense that, along with their offense, is getting healthier. Right now this Ravens team smells blood in the water and will take advantage of an opportunity to get to 3-0 on the road within the AFC North.
Mike Tomlin, the master coach of underdogs with an ATS win rate of well over 60 percent when receiving points, has his work cut out for him. The Ravens, ripped apart by injuries in September, are getting healthy. WRs Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashid Bateman are due back, and CB Marlon Humphrey could accompany them. Tomlin will deploy Kenny Pickett despite the QB's knee injury last weekend. Pickett's counterpart, Lamar Jackson, is coming off two straight scintillating games. With a full complement of receivers, he is poised to stay white hot.
The Steelers are back home after a disappointing game and should be highly motivated in this crucial rivalry. These teams have a history of playing close games, and despite being favored only twice, the Steelers have won five out of six games against the Ravens in the last three seasons. This presents an excellent opportunity for the Steelers to bounce back as underdogs. Pittsburgh will be all in with its bye week coming up. This game will be another closely contested match, so taking the points is a wise choice.
The injury news is promising for the Ravens, and I'm not sure I'm excited about the fact that Kenny Pickett claims he'll be "ready to go" for this critical AFC North matchup. But this is too many points to give the Steelers, at home coming off an embarrassing performance. In the past six meetings of this bitter rivalry, Pittsburgh has won outright five times and lost by four. With Baltimore playing its second straight road game, I'm expecting another tight game with the Steelers covering.
The Ravens have secured two dominant wins during their 3-1 start, but the best QB they've faced is either C.J. Stroud in his NFL debut in Baltimore or a far less than 100% Joe Burrow. They took on backup QBs in each of their last two games and only managed one win. That could be the case again this week, of course, with Kenny Pickett dealing with a bone bruise, but ideally we'll get a healthy Mitchell Trubisky in this game so Pickett can rest through the bye. The Steelers are 5-1 straight up against the Ravens over the last three years despite only being favored twice, so this is a tough spot for Baltimore. If they win, I think it'll be close.
The Steelers stink and haven't gone over 400 yards in 39 games. This probably makes it 40 but catching four points at home against the Ravens is just too much in this blood rivalry. These games are usually decided by a field goal and we're getting the home team here.
Historically this is the Steelers' game. But we can't ignore the way this Todd Monken offense is operating this year. He's taken a team that ranked 30th in red zone efficiency last season and turned it into No. 1. Lamar Jackson is a goal line threat himself. This line moved from 4.5 to 3.5 with the news of Kenny Pickett playing. Statistically, an unhealthy (or honestly healthy) Pickett is no step up from Mitch Trubisky and should not be moving the needle a full point. This Ravens team is playing with momentum under Jackson that the Steelers can only dream of.
Pittsburgh’s Kenny Pickett is not expected to play this week. The Ravens come off a 25-point divisional win against Cleveland on the road. The Steelers have struggled offensively with Pickett and should continue to struggle with Mitch Trubisky taking over, especially with their offensive line concerns. Baltimore’s offense will eventually find success on this Steelers defense allowing 421.3 total yards per game and Pittsburgh may not be able to match them. The total went under seven of the last 10 meetings between these two.
