The Rangers are 28-9 to the under at home in the first 5, including 5 of the past 6. Patrick Corbin might be the Comeback Player of the Year. KC is 23-12 to the under first 5 on the road. In Kris Bubic's 7 road starts, 6 have featured 7 runs or less.
Bobby Witt Jr. hasn't recorded a stolen base in his last 11 games and was caught stealing on June 15 against the A's. Witt Jr. is 4-for-6 with a double and home run against Patrick Corbin. Speaking of Corbin, he has allowed 32 stolen bases over the last two seasons. Global Life Field is ranked last in park factor runs scored, including 24th in doubles and 29th in home runs this season, so let's just play his stolen base prop at +250.
Last night was a reminder to still be a bit wary of the Rangers' offense, which despite some recent signs of a breakout has been inconsistent at best the first three months of the season. Still, one more chance for Texas tonight after Seth Lugo and the Royals bullpen cooled the Rangers bats last night. KC's Kris Bubic might be capable of the same except in his last start he endured his worst outing of the campaign when tagged for five runs and six hits across just 4 1/3 IP of a 6-3 loss to the Yankees. As for Bruce Bochy's Texas side, Patrick Corbin has been consistent if not spectacular all season, reflected in his serviceable 3.66 ERA. Play Rangers on the Money Line.
The Royals snapped their six game losing streak by beating the Rangers 6-1, which also ended the Rangers five-game win streak against the Royals. The Rangers fell one game behind .500 at 36-37 with the loss, but they're playing well lately, winning seven of their last nine. We’ve got a pair of lefties on the mound with Kris Bubic, who got clubbed by the Yankees for five runs his last time out, and Patrick Corbin, who has allowed three runs or less in all 12 of his starts this season. I will go to the well again with the Rangers staying under, which has happened 49 times this year, or 68.1%. Just the under.
