Defense should be optional in this game between two tanking teams. Over their last 10 games, both the Pacers and the Grizzlies rank inside the bottom seven in the league in defensive rating. Pascal Siakam (wrist) is not expected to play for the Pacers and Obi Toppin should remain on a strict minute restriction. That should continue to leave added playing time for Micah Potter, who has averaged 26 minutes over the last seven games. In five of those games, he scored at least 14 points. Look for him to fill a similar role Sunday, making this over appealing.

DraftKings. This is a high line for Jaylen Wells, who is under this total in 24 of his last 30 games. Primarily a spot up shooter and secondary scorer, this is a brutal matchup against the Pacers who are second in defending catch and shot opportunities. Wells has struggled when the Grizzlies lack a primary facilitator, which will be the case tonight. I’d bet this at under 14.5 points or under 17.5 points plus rebounds.

The Grizzlies are in in full tank mode as they look to position themselves for the future. Scottie Pippen Jr. is currently their starting PG, however he’s on a strict minutes cap as a result of coming back from an injury. Considering he’s unlikely to see more than 24 minutes, this is a super lofty combo line for a player that typically doesn’t shoot a ton.
