FanDuel. This is an A+ spot for Karl-Anthony Towns to clean up on the glass. He’s cleared this line in three straight games, and in 7/12 without Mitchell Robinson, who is being rested tonight. The Wizards allow the most rebounds per game both overall and specifically to centers. Towns has an insane 84 rebound chances over his last three games, as he’s clearly looking to produce on the glass despite a dip in his scoring.
Well, we knew the oddsmakers would attach a premium to the Knicks sooner or later. Since that clear-the-air team meeting preceding a 120-66 blowout of Brooklyn, New York has won and covered six straight. Valued subs Mitchell Robinson and Miles McBride are out but the Knicks kept winning on Sunday vs. the Lakers, and moreover don't seem to be in any hurry to make upgrades at the trade deadline, content apparently with Mike Brown's current roster. Meanwhile, the Wizards have played well enough lately to keep the Knicks on alert, but Washington's defense is still one of the NBA's worst, and note KAT scored a big 33 when NY cruised by 17 in the first meeting at MSG back on November 3. Play Knicks

Tre Johnson (ankle) will miss his third straight game for the Wizards. In the last two games without him, Carlton Carrington finished with six assists each. Going back further, Carrington has averaged 5.6 assists over his last 13 games. This game being played in Washington is important because he averages 5.0 assists at home, compared to 4.3 assists on the road. When he faced the Knicks in New York earlier this season, he dished out seven dimes. With a starting job likely in hand, Carrington is in a favorable spot to produce at least five assists again.
Washington is 6-2 ATS in its past eight and pretty healthy other than Trae Young. Feels like Trap City for the Knicks off a marquee home game Sunday vs. the Lakers and another one back at MSG tomorrow night vs. Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets in a possible Finals preview. So easy to overlook the Wiz. The New York bench is thin with Miles McBride and Mitchell Robinson sitting in the front of the B2B. This is the Knicks' only visit to D.C. this season so it should mean even a bit more perhaps to the Wiz guys (and a full house) as it's clearly a marquee game on the slate.
