Even though Miami's ace Sandy Alcantara is on the mound on Thursday, I'm backing Michael Wacha and the Royals to avoid the series sweep. Surprisingly, Miami has lost four straight Alcantara starts and 7 of his last 10 outings. Meanwhile, Kansas City has won three straight Wacha starts and 5 of his last 8 outings. Since the All-Star Break, Kansas City's starter has given up two earned runs or less in 6 of his 8 starts. I think Wacha turns in another quality outing and leads the Royals to a victory at home on Thursday evening.
