Understanding Public and Money
Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

I was actually was impressed by North Texas vs. Indiana last week as they outgained the champs, averaging 5.5 yards per play. Indiana is just the better team and champs for a reason... they also blew it open with a 21-0 fourth quarter.
North Texas QB Tayven Jackson, who took over for Drew Mestemaker and completed 22/28 passes vs. a tough Hoosiers defense.
UNLV has been on a rollercoaster tour the first 3 weeks. Dan Mullen's second year is not off to good start as they looked awful in loss to Memphis, then went to the island to snore past Hawaii and now travel to Denton for a tough matchup with NT.
That's a lot of travel to be laying 3.5 points on the road.
UNLV, fresh off an unflashy win at Hawaii, must repack for another road trip. The Rebels have sent off mixed signals so far, having bowed in their opener at home to Memphis. The Mean Green were a cash cow a year ago throughout a 12-2 SU season. Despite the lopsided score against Indiana in this season’s opener, it outgained the high and mighty Hoosiers. Coach Neal Brown, dealt a difficult card for his debut as the NTSU coach, gets to settle in against a beatable guest.
It's not often I'm in the college football streets, but after watching both UNLV games, I can't help but target them in a game that I think North Texas can win. UNLV lost to Memphis Week 1 and appeared to bounce back against Hawaii, but the scoreboard doesn't really tell the story there. Hawaii moved the ball drive after drive in the 2nd half and continuously shot themselves in the foot while in scoring position. I expect North Texas to fare better near the red zone and I expect them to be able to run the ball and outgain UNLV (much like they did against Indiana). Notable that it's a tough travel spot for UNLV as well.
