Understanding Public and Money
Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Western Michigan Broncos vs. Miami (OH) RedHawks Odds, Betting Lines, Expert picks, Game Projections, DFS Projections and Player Prop Projections - Saturday 10/25 3:30 PM ET - SportsLine.com
The MAC has been a conference I’ve stayed clear of thus far this season. Today though I believe there is an opportunity in a battle of undefeated conference MAC teams, as Western Michigan takes on Miami Ohio. Seventh year senior DeQuan Finn has done his most damage in conference with his legs, but we’ve also seen his rushing yards come down each of the last three weeks. Look for Western Michigan to force Finn more into a pocket passer where he has struggled with touchdowns to interceptions. Take Western Michigan.
In what could be a preview of a MAC title rematch, there are some factors suggesting that the RedHawks are worth a look. Mostly because HC Chuck Martin has been making a habit of dominating in the MAC; since 2023, Miami-O is 18-3 SU and 15-6 vs. sthe spread in MAC games. Transfer QB Dequan Finn, who missed action earlier this season due to a concussion, is back and efficiently piloting the RedHawks offense, which exploded for 255 yards rushing in last week's win over EMU. The Broncos have been hot, too, winning four straight, but probably didn't need that bye last week, and offensive numbers don't jump off the page (WMU just 6 TDP vs. 4 picks; only 3.8 ypc).
