Understanding Public and Money
Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

This total mght be justified if high-speed Oklahoma State were facing a foe that also embraces the fast break. But Davidson prefers a dawdling pace. It averaged among the fewest possessions per outing in Division 1 with a rank of 355th. Also, its defensive efficiency ranking is a laudable 89th. The Wildcats' last three games wound up with 121, 112 (n regulation) and 128 points. It would take quite a leap for Davidson to move into the mid-150s here.
I know it's the lower-scoring Atlantic 10, but each of the last nine Davidson games failed to top 137 points. Meanwhile the last ten Oklahoma State games hit 150 points or more. Something has to give. Look for the Wildcats to slow the pace and I think they're a live underdog in Stillwater on Tuesday night.
