Which online casinos are launching in Alberta on July 13?
Just a few weeks remain until Alberta online casinos go live, but which brands are expected to launch?

The countdown to the launch of online casinos in Alberta has reached its final stage, with operators expected to debut their mobile apps on July 13 to bring the province in line with Ontario as the only jurisdictions with regulated online casino gaming. As we get closer to that go-live date, residents can start thinking about which brands they want to align with, which includes many of the top regulated casinos in North America.

What to know about Alberta online casinos
Officials have long targeted July 13 for Alberta to welcome licensed online casinos, offering a date for online gambling enthusiasts to circle as they will have a mobile casino to patronize outside of PlayAlberta, which has been the only regulated platform available in the province since 2020.
Of course, not all Albertans will be able to enjoy online casino gaming. Among the age and eligibility rules for iGaming in Alberta is a requirement to be 18 years or older, which users will need to confirm by signing up with their full name, residential address and birth date, as well as by uploading a copy of their driver's license or passport.
Players will also need to be physically located in Alberta, which can be done by sharing their location with their favorite online casino.
