How Cash App payments will soon be accepted at US online casinos and sportsbooks
The iGaming payment provider PayNearMe is bringing Cash App to legal online casinos and sportsbooks. Find out where PayNearMe is currently at in this process below.

PayNearMe will be the first-to-market provider of Cash App Pay payments for the regulated U.S. online gambling market. The fintech platform is early in the process of bringing Cash App Pay to the American iGaming and sports betting markets. It's currently marketing this payment solution to legal online gambling operators.
Cash App Pay will join PayNearMe's other payment methods
PayNearMe helps facilitate online and physical payments for real money online casino and sportsbook operators. Its current online offerings include ACH, Apple Pay, credit/debit cards, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo.
PayNearMe will be the first to offer Cash App Pay, which allows players to make deposits and other payments using a linked debit card or Cash App balance. Up until now, regulated payment providers have avoided venturing into online casinos that accept Cash App.
When will US players be able to deposit with Cash App?
We haven't been able to confirm any regulated gaming sites currently accepting Cash App Pay through PayNearMe. It appears that PayNearMe is in the marketing phase of providing this payment method.
Its website features a signup form that invites operators to run a demo test of Cash App payments. An excerpt next to the form reads:Â
"Get full control over the payment types to offer, the fee structure you charge (if any), and display order to match your unique needs. Like all PayNearMe payments, Cash App Pay transactions are saved to a single ledger—simplifying your reconciliation process."
Plenty of other payment methods are available until Cash App fully rolls out
Over 55 million Americans use Cash App. So, the ability to use Cash App Pay to play online casino games for real money will be an interesting development.
However, there's no current timetable on exactly when players will have access to this payment option at gaming sites and online sportsbooks. Again, PayNearMe is giving online gambling operators the chance to trial Cash App payments right now.
In the meantime, players still have access to other convenient payment methods. There are plenty of online casinos that accept PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Visa and Mastercard.Â
When it comes to withdrawals, many players like using Skrill Casinos and gaming sites that accept online banking transfers via Trustly.
