NFL Week 8 best bets: Two picks based on betting systems hitting at more than 60% include Bills vs. Ravens
SportsLine's Jeff Hochman has identified two selections for the NFL Week 8 schedule based on proven betting systems

At Highmark Stadium, Josh Allen and the 5-1 Buffalo Bills return on Sunday after a bye week, bringing one of the league's most explosive offenses on extra rest. Across from them, the Baltimore Ravens (4-3) are trying to recover after two straight losses, including a tough second-half collapse in a 35-13 loss to Cincinnati.
The betting market is watching Lamar Jackson's ankle closely. The former MVP practiced in a limited role last week after missing three games and is expected to start. But facing a rested pass rush while healing from a high ankle sprain is much tougher than playing at full strength.
Oddsmakers have Buffalo as a 3.5-point (+100) home favorite and set the total at 53.5 points, the highest of the week. The game fits into one of the NFL's most profitable betting systems, one that hits at a 60.9% rate over the last 18 NFL seasons.
The system is one of two I'm featuring for Week 8. Both have regular season win rates over 60% against the spread (ATS) and have produced a selection rated on a confidence scale of 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest).
I've also included my model's score projection, a predictive metric that is entirely independent. When both the system and my model align, I view it as a stronger selection.
(Below, Jeff Hochman, who is up $1,133 on his last 172 NFL picks, shares his two favorite systems plays for Week 8.)
