One of the more embarrassing losses for the Dolphins last year came in their season finale against the Bills. Buffalo did not let up when leading 35-13, going on to score three more touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Look for Miami to use that as motivation as it looks to send the Bills to an 0-2 start. Play the Dolphins.

You could say the Dolphins got lucky in Week 1 due to a late Pats fumble ... or you could say the Dolphins impressively won on Bill Belichick's home turf and their rising defense forced a crucial turnover. I see it as the latter. Everything went almost perfectly for the 13-3 Bills of 2020, and even then they didn't beat the Fins by more than a field goal in hot and humid Florida. Fade the public (70% of bets are on the Bills) and grab the points.

The Bills and Dolphins have gone Over the total in their last five meetings. . This is a spot in which the Bills are angry, upset, and focused on not being embarrassed again. I like angry teams that are capable of doing something about it. I expect the Bills to start fast and Miami tries to play catch-up, creating lots of scoring. Over is the top play Sunday.

I initially leaned to the Dolphins in this game after watching the Bills offense sputter in Week 1, but I'm going to chalk that up to the Steelers having an entire offseason to develop the perfect plan to take Buffalo by surprise. Last year, the Bills offense dominated a good Miami defense, piling up nearly 1,000 yards in their two games combined. The Bills defense also looks to be better this year than last. While Miami has typically had a good home-field advantage in recent years, the Dolphins are also coming off a fortunate win where they were largely outplayed by the Pats. If you can get Bills -3, that's the way to go.
