The Memphis front office traded away its best player on Tuesday in Jaren Jackson Jr., and most everyone else notable is out. Start of a long trip for the Grizz, who are 1-6 in their past seven. Sacramento hasn't traded Domantas Sabonis .... yet. He's expected to play after missing a couple. Rare true chance for a win for the Kings, who have dropped nine in a row. You'd think all those vets have some pride left to avoid a double-digit slide. It's their first home game since Jan. 21.
I try not to dabble in the NBA much but this is a trend I can't resist. Since early-2025, the Grizzlies are 0-27-1 ATS after scoring 116 points in their previous game. While it's never comfortable backing a team on a nine game losing streak, the trend is so strong, and Memphis is so shorthanded, that I can't resist betting Sacramento.
The Memphis Grizzlies just traded away Jaren Jackson Jr, so an already thin roster will have to make due tonight against Sacramento. One of the toughest things to do is return from a lengthy road trip and Sacramento is aiming to do so after a six game east coast road trip. They were extremely flat in Sunday’s loss against the Wizards. With this being a late game there is also a chance of players being dealt in a very active trade period. Take the Grizzlies.

Caesar’s. Even if he doesn’t see an increase in his 20 minute restriction, this line is still too low for Ty Jerome. He’s coming off consecutive games against the Wolves with 27 and 33 PRA, both in games with a better than 30% usage rate. With the Grizzlies now without Jaren Jackson Jr., amongst others, and their new acquisitions likely not ready for their team debut, Jerome should once again have a ball-dominant role.

The Grizzlies traded Jaren Jackson Jr. to the Jazz on Tuesday. The main haul in the trade was draft picks, so they are going to have a void in the scoring department moving forward. The players they did acquire might not be available yet, which would leave the Grizzlies even more shorthanded. Although Ty Jerome has played limited minutes since returning from injury, he combined for at least 26 points and assists in both games. He could get a few extra minutes against a Kings team that has the third-worst defensive rating in the league, so this over is appealing.
