DS has had some tough matchups lately (including Miami) but he should thrive tonight v the champs. I project the game over and Sabonis over this number. Grab it now. Assist to Alex S. On this one
This number is too low for Sabonis who averages 33.2 points + rebounds on the season. Sabonis is the best Center is the league not named Nikola Jokic (since Joel Embiid is hurt) and is certainly playing like it, the big man is on his way to All-NBA honors. In his last six head to head matchups against Jokic, Sabonis has piled up 33, 42, 32, 41, 30, and 47 Points and Rebounds. I think its also fair to argue that Sabonis is playing the best basketball of his career at the moment as well. Look for the big man to pile up plenty of points and rebounds tonight in Denver.
The Nuggets have been on cruise control all season, but it's go time now. They've won three straight coming out of the All-Star break and Nikola Jokic is on a heater. The numbers don't support this bet. The Nuggets are under-.500 at home ATS while the Kings are 18-12 on the road. All the more reason to take Denver. That factors into this line. It's a different time of year for a different Nuggets team.
I really like this spot for Porter, who is averaging 18.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in the month of February. He has attempted six or more 3-pointers this month, and I don't see him slowing down there anytime soon. I expect the 6-foot-10 shooter to finish with 20+ points and push this number in that category alone.
Kentavious Caldwell Pope has a proper matchup to attack his points over tonight. He will face a Sacramento Kings team that was completely flat defensively against a Miami Heat team missing three key players. Typically this year the Kings woes carry over into the next game. Caldwell Pope get over this number by a basket.
Sabonis is averaging 14 rebounds/G in February and he's been in great form since the AS break and he's been a force in three wins over Denver, grabbing 17, 15 and 13 boards. He's over this in 6 of his last 9 road games and had 13 in one other game. These triple double battles with The Joker seem to bring out the best in Sabonis.
SAC is 3-0 straight up and ATs vs the Nuggets and just won on the ML as 5.5 point dogs at Denver Feb. 14. DEN is just 5-8 as a home favorite since Christmas, while the Kings are 10-6 ATS as road dogs. Kings beat the Nugs in a low-scoring close game, a high-scoring close game and blowout (135-106). Seems like a bad match-up for Denver. Kings playing more solid defense lately. They can keep this game close. I will probably sprinkle on the ML as well
