Meanwhile recent Utah efforts have left much to be desired, as the Jazz needed the lowly Spurs to show up on Sunday to help break a 5-game h losing streak in which the defense has all but disappeared, allowing a hefty 126 pg across the last six. John Collins enters this matchup against his former team playing well. Over his last 13 games, he has averaged 16.2 points and 10.9 rebounds. During that span, he combined for at least 24 points and rebounds nine times. The Hawks are lacking size up front with Onyeka Okongwu (toe) out and Clint Capela on a minutes restriction, so look for Collins to stay hot.

John Collins has had a solid season after signing with the Utah Jazz in the offseason. Collins will face a familiar opponent in the Atlanta Hawks where the big man spent the first six years of his career. After a fairly quiet start to his Jazz career, Collins has come on strong lately and has been playing his best basketball as of late averaging 16 and 11 in the month of February on impressive splits of 55/33/83. Collins has been particularly impressive on the glass pulling down double digit rebounds in 8 of his last 13 games. Look for Collins to make a splash in his return to Atlanta.
