D'Angelo Russell has the highest net efficiency rating of anybody on the Lakers in this series. While the raw stats may not show it, the Lakers have been much better with him on the floor than without him, and Russell has been a better performer at home all season. With Memphis desperate for a win tonight, I expect they'll be focused on stopping LeBron and AD, which will leave plenty of opportunity for Russell.

In my opinion, this bet is more about Tillman's minutes than his performance. The third year pro went for 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 assists in 32 minutes as Memphis won their only game of the series, 103-93 in Game 2. He totaled 20 points + assists + rebounds in Game 3, playing 39 minutes. In Tillman's last 15 games playing 28 or more minutes, he's exceeded this prop total in 14 of them. I'm betting that he gets plenty of run tonight in a must win game for Memphis and posts a double-double to hit the Over on this bet.

D'Angelo Russell is 3 for 12 from deep over his last two games, and for the series he's at 28.6 percent (6 for 21). This is a good price on him to go Under 2.5 3-pointers, as I think it's more likely he focuses on attacking and distributing. While he did nail three 3-pointers in Game 1, he has not had a good shooting game in this series. The Lakers are dominating in the paint and it would not be smart for Russell to hoist a ton of 3-pointers.

Ja Morant returned to the court on Saturday and we saw him post a monster line of 45 points, 13 assists, 9 rebounds while playing a whopping 42 minutes. I expect him to log similar minutes in a must win game 4 tonight. Morant is averaging 7.5 rebounds in this series and has eclipsed this line in 9 of his last 10 postseason appearances. The Grizzlies are playing without two of their best big men in Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke which causes Memphis to play small and rely on Morant's rebounding even more. Between the uptick in playing time, Memphis being forced to play small, and Ja stuffing the stat sheet this time of the season, I think he has a great shot to pull down 7 boards tonight. Like always, make sure to shop around for this prop.
If the Lakers are going to continue to get max contributions from their stars and role players, it'll simply be too much for the Grizzlies. This is going to be the most intensely fought game of the series and I suspect the Grizzlies will lean on Morant a bit too much, while the Lakers have enjoyed contributions from LeBron, Anthony Davis and a host of role players. It'll be a spirited effort from both teams, but I'm taking the more complete team to cover at home.

Desmond Bane picked up two fouls in the first six minutes in Game 3, one reason why Memphis fell into a 35-9 hole. He's shooting 30.4 percent from deep in the series. Coach Taylor Jenkins has challenged his Big Three -- Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Bane -- to step up in Game 4 or else the Grizzlies' season will be in jeopardy. Bane is the team's best 3-point shooter (40.8 percent), and he's made three treys in two of three playoff games. He got going a bit in Game 3 when he made 3 of 7. Look for Bane to let it fly Monday. I'd even go Over 3.5 3-pointers at plus money.
The Lakers jumped on the Grizzlies early in Game 3, eventually earning a 10-point victory. They held the Grizzlies to 101 points, despite Ja Morant scoring 45 by himself. Dillon Brooks will not be suspended after he hit LeBron James in the groin area, and that might actually benefit the Lakers because he is shooting 32.5 percent from the field in this series. Heavy juice for the moneyline again, but since it’s under -200, I still feel more comfortable playing it than the Lakers to cover the spread.
Did we see anything in Game 3 that would lead us to expect the Grizzlies will win a road game in this series? I sure didn't. Dillon Brooks might have been in his own head in Game 3 before being ejected. He will not be suspended, though. Honestly don't know why the Grizzlies don't use Tyus Jones more even when Morant is healthy. Jones only got 17 minutes in Game 3.
