Things are grim right now in Los Angeles. LeBron James (foot) is going to miss at least the next two weeks, dealing a significant blow to the Lakers' playoff hopes. D’Angelo Russell (ankle) is listed as doubtful, putting him on pace to miss his second straight game. Schroder started and played 35 minutes with him out Sunday against the Mavericks, finishing with 16 points. When he faced the Grizzlies about a month ago, he scored 19 points over 33 minutes as a starter. Given who the Lakers will be missing in this matchup, look for Schroder’s role to be large enough to propel him to the over.

Jarred Vanderbilt played great last game putting up 15 points and a season-high 17 rebounds. Now with LeBron out, Vanderbilt should see an increase in minutes. In his three games against the Grizzlies as a member of the Timberwolves this season, Vanderbilt averaged 8.7 points and 7.3 rebounds with less minutes than he will play tonight. This has a lot of value tonight.
