Randle has averaged 29.7 points over his last six games. The key was, he attempted at least 19 shots five times during that span. He has given the Celtics problems, scoring 29 and 37 points, respectively, in two previous meetings. He is averaging 36 minutes for the season, and logged at least 37 minutes in both previous games against the Celtics. With plenty of minutes and shot attempts coming his way, the over is the way to go.

Marcus Smart has gone over this number in each of his six games played without Jaylen Brown. Smart is averaging 9.8 assists in those six games, including double-digit assists in four of those games. I am taking both White and Smart's assists.

This line doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Derrick White has gone over this number in each of his last seven games without Jaylen Brown averaging 8.4 APG. He had 10+ assists in three of his last four game without Brown. Even with Marcus Smart playing, this number is way too low.

The Knicks have been playing very well, winners of five in the row, and the Celtics are without Jaylen Brown this evening. Over their last three games, Boston has been averaging 126.3 points per game and New York is averaging 121.7 points. The Knicks struggle guarding the perimeter and the Celtics have been shooting 45.8 percent from beyond the arc in their last three games. If the Knicks fall behind, they will push the pace with Jalen Brunson and get to the free-throw to hopefully push this one over. I'm on the Over.

Smart has had three consecutive quiet performances since returning to Boston's lineup after suffering an ankle sprain that caused him to miss over three weeks of action. As a result we are getting a discount on this combination prop. Jaylen Brown will be getting the night off and without Brown in the lineup Smart’s receives a significant uptick in usage. Smart has appeared in six games without Brown this season and is averaging 14.7 PPG, 9.8 APG, 3.8 RPG, good for a total of 28.3 PRA. I expect Smart to stuff the stat sheet tonight against the Knicks.
