After their despicable performance with runners in scoring position last night (and costing me a couple five team parlays), I'm rolling with the Cubs on the road tonight. I think Kade Anderson will be awesome for Seattle, but the kid is making his Major League debut and I don't think he goes longer than five innings. Chicago has won each of David Peterson's last five starts and they're 7-2 overall when he pitches for them (after being acquired from the Mets). This is risky going against the phenom Anderson but the Cubs will find a way to win a lower-scoring affair.
The Cubs have been one of the better teams in the league, top-10, when facing lefties on the road. Now, they face rookie Kade Anderson who’s making his major league debut. Anderson went 10-1 with a 1.06 ERA in 18 starts for Double-A and one of the top pitching prospects in baseball. Typically, fading a rookie in their first start is the move but David Peterson isn’t worth backing with his 5.29 ERA and 1.53 WHIP through 112.1 innings.
