Arizona is the better team but righty Zac Gallen historically has been quite a bit worse outside the desert and that's certainly the case in 2026 as he's 0-3 with a 7.25 ERA on the road. Overall in May, his ERA is 6.66 -- which I didn't like typing that devil number. Guess will be going to confession (again) on Sunday. Seattle's George Kirby (5-4, 3.54 ERA) has run a bit hot and cold but 3-1 with a 2.53 ERA at night. M's star Julio Rodriguez has reached base in 12 consecutive games and has eight homers in May, tied for his most dingers in any month career.

I'm riding the hot streak with Ketel Marte, who has been the best player in baseball over the last two weeks. I hope I'm not a jinx, but Marte has hit this prop in 11 straight games. During that time, he's had eight multi-hit games and 10 extra base hits. Mariners starter George Kirby hasn't been anything special thus far in 2026 so let's take Marte at a price to continue his elite play.

The Diamondbacks have won the last four meetings with the Mariners, and they come into tonight's game at Seattle riding a five-game winning streak and have 10 of their last 11. The Mariners come off a sweep at Sacramento over the A's, where they only allowed four runs in the three games. George Kirby is on the mound for Seattle, and in his last two starts, he got roughed up, allowing 11 combined runs. The Diamondbacks have the two hottest hitters in baseball over the last two weeks. I like the Diamondbacks.

FanDuel (+100). This is a brutal matchup for Zac Gallen. The Diamondbacks hurler sports a 4.80 ERA (4.87 xERA) this season, however his home/road splits are significant. On the road, Gallen has stayed under this line in all five starts, while sporting a 7.25 ERA, and a .941 opponent OPS. The Mariners are a patient team (ninth in pitches per plate appearance) and the bats have started to heat up with a 122 wRC+ over the last two weeks against righties. Gallen has seen some quick hooks lately, due to his awful numbers the third time through the order (.395 oBA, 1.156 OPS). With the D-Backs bullpen rested, I’d expect Gallen yanked if he runs into trouble early.
