Indiana Pacers at Oklahoma City Thunder (-9.5, 223.5): 8:30 p.m. ET

Oklahoma City trailed the Pacers by seven after three quarters in Game 4 and was looking at a 3-1 series deficit. Then the Thunder erupted in the fourth quarter, outscoring Indiana 31-17 behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 35 points. Now the series is tied 2-2 heading back to Oklahoma City with the Thunder hefty favorites in Game 5.

Despite shooting just 18.8 percent from three-point range, the Thunder were able to prevail on the road thanks in large part to their work on the boards. OKC held a +10 rebounding edge and out-rebounded the Pacers in three of the four games. 

Oklahoma City is a stellar 44-8 at home this season, although Indiana has shown it can win on the road in the playoffs, going 7-3.

Best MLB bets today

Boston Red Sox at Seattle Mariners (-190, 7): 9:40 p.m. ET

Boston enters its series with Seattle on a roll after sweeping the New York Yankees over the weekend. The Red Sox have won five straight and are 8-2 in their last 10 games. 

Lucas Giolito will look to keep Boston's win streak alive on Monday. The Red Sox are hoping to see the good version of Giolito. The veteran right-hander has been up and down this season. Giolito has allowed one run or less in four starts but a total of 22 in the other four (15.1 innings).

The Mariners counter with Logan Gilbert. Gilbert is coming off the injured list and making his first start since April 25. The 28-year-old was off to a strong start to the season before getting injured, allowing just eight runs in 30.1 innings of work.

San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Dodgers (-150, 8.5): 10:10 p.m. ET

The Dodgers took two of three from the San Francisco Giants over the weekend and now start a three-game series against another NL West contender in San Diego. The Padres trail Los Angeles by three games heading into Monday's matchup.

The big news in this game is Shohei Ohtani is expected to pitch for the Dodgers. Ohtani hasn't pitched since Aug. 23, 2023, when he got hurt and needed Tommy John surgery. The reigning National League MVP will be used as an opener and is expected to go only one or two innings, so the Dodgers' bullpen will play a big role on Monday. 

San Diego gives the ball to Dylan Cease. Cease has been the model of consistency this season, allowing three runs or fewer in 13 of 14 starts. The right-hander is coming off one of his best outings of the year versus the Dodgers last week when he pitched 7.0 scoreless innings in an 11-1 Padres win.
