If you can get -1, I'd do that. I'm not doing -1.5 and can't say I love F5 -0.5 or any other variations. This is a type of play where I did really well in hockey this year. I.e., I'm confident in the straight up win but think the ML price is too high and simply hope for a two-run/goal victory at -1. The Angels' Jose Soriano is a decent pitcher so some pause, but I'd think a minor sense of urgency for the Yanks off being swept in Boston. At least the bullpen is fully ready tonight. And Giancarlo Stanton is making his season debut. He may well go 0-for-4 with the Golden Sombrero, but the former NL MVP does lengthen the lineup.
Each is hitting this midweek set in reverse after getting swept in their respective series across the weekend. While we suspect that more of a blip for the Yanks, it might signify the early stage the type of downturn we have come to expect from the Halos, as the offense regressed into more bad habits on the weekend in Baltimore, such as Friday night when flummoxed by Charlie Morton's change-of-pace, and ending up with 15 Ks and just 1 walk in a shutout loss. Remember, the Bronx Bombers swept that Angels in Anaheim three weeks ago, and Monday starter Clarke Schmidt fired six shutout innings in NY's May 28 win at the Big A. Play Yankees on Run Line

I’ll be keeping it light tonight but I’m willing to take a shot on Clarke Schmidt for a one unit ladder at 7,8,9 strikeouts on Draftkings. Last time out against the Angels in LA Schmidt had three strikeouts in the first two innings but ended with just four in six innings. He had 15 two-strike counts and I think he fell short on the strikeouts partially because of how many pitches he had to throw to get out of trouble in the early innings. We’ll see how he fares at home but after the last two outings with seven and nine strikeouts, I’ll bet he has better luck finishing off those two-strike counts tonight.

Aaron Judge is 0-for-8 with six strikeouts in his last two games. However, he has exceeded this total base number in four of his previous five home games, averaging 3.4 total bases per game during that period. Jose Soriano throws his sinker 51% of the time, and Judge is batting .561 with a .854 slugging percentage against that pitch this season. Additionally, the Angels' bullpen has allowed the seventh-most hits and has given up the most home runs in all of baseball.
NYY bats hit the wall and Aaron Judge is finally slumping and others are no longer hitting way over their heads. Clarke Schmidt has been really good for them with a 2.90 ERA in his last 5 starts. Halos are streaky and slumping again. Soriano has been really good for them on the road with a 3.19 ERA, despite giving up 7 ER in 3 2/3 at BOS. A total of 3 runs or less have been scored in the first 5 innings of 5 of his 8 road starts.
