Kent State is widely rated as the worst team in the FBS and worse than all but a handful of FCS teams. Earlier this season the Flashes were down by 48 to Texas Tech at the half. Meanwhile the Seminoles are coming off a bye week after smoking East Texas A&M, 77-3. Even though Florida State's next game comes Friday night at Virginia, I fully expect the Seminoles to leave no doubt.

We've seen Florida State do a great job so far this season in dominating competition that they are better than. They are out to make a statement to the rest of the country and have not let their foot off of the gas vs anyone they've faced this season. Don't expect anything differently vs Kent State, despite the large number.

Florida State has looked incredible through the first two games, already matching last year's win total. 31 on Alabama and 77 against an FCS team is plenty impressive to me. I don't see how they don't score at least 48 on a bad Kent State team. But the Golden Flashes have shown some signs of life on offense and should be good for two scores to push this one well over.
