The Dores quickly rinsed the bad taste of the recent 93-68 blowout loss at Arkansas out of their mouths in a 32-point romp at Mississippi State on the weekend when star soph G Tyler Tanner scored 24 and Vandy shot 54% from the floor. Aside from the losses at Texas and Arkansas, the Dores have scored 80+ in the other seven of the most-recent nine games. Meanwhile, Mark Pope has Big Blue humming again with five straight wins, paced by ex-Oklahoma G Otego Oweh (scored 23 in Saturday's win over Ole Miss), and while the Cats don't play quite as fast as the Dores, they still boast an 82.5 ppg offense.
