PartyCasino joins Alberta online casino market with July 23 launch

The legal Alberta online casino industry is just over a week old, but it continues to grow with the launch of licensed operators. The latest expansion includes PartyCasino, which went live on July 23 after teasing its debut on its website leading up to the launch. As a result, Alberta becomes PartyCasino's third jurisdiction where it legally operates.

The PartyCasino brand has been around for some time, but it is likely brand new to Alberta online casino customers now.

Ahead of the July 23 debut, PartyCasino hinted on its website that its "Alberta experience is almost here," noting that it was set to join the growing list of online casinos Canada offers in the province starting on July 23.

According to the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC), which oversees partnership agreements for regulated online casinos in the province, there are around 20 platforms that are currently live in Alberta, including some of the top brands like DraftKings Casino Alberta.

Now, PartyCasino enters the market and offers hundreds of popular games to eligible Albertans who are at least 18 years old and physically located in the province.

After first making its US debut in New Jersey in 2018, PartyCasino expanded into Ontario four years later and is now ready to make Alberta the second Canadian jurisdiction in which it operates.

PartyCasino boasts more than 2,200 casino games online to players in Alberta. That includes popular slots such as Divine Fortune Gold and Slingo Cash Eruption as well as installments in the Rakin' Bacon and Huff N' Puff series.

PartyCasino also features table games like blackjack, roulette and baccarat as well as special variations of those staples, including Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, Blackjack Fortune Spinner Pro and Mississippi Stud.

On top of that, users can also find live dealer games – whether it be standard table titles or specialty game shows – that involve real dealers and hosts streaming from dedicated studios and interacting with players to bring the excitement of in-person gaming to your mobile device.

PartyCasino could certainly help provide a boost to the Alberta online casino industry that is still in its infancy. As the market grows, however, officials believe that it can generate some $390 million in its first year.
