Golden Nugget leads the way for iGaming operators
The New Jersey iGaming revenue report for April 2026 breaks down earnings for each land-based casino brand. Golden Nugget dominated last month to the tune of $81,258,482 in iGaming revenue, good for 30.9% of the state's $263.1 million overall total.
Operating under Golden Nugget's New Jersey license, FanDuel was the primary driver of this figure with $58.3 million in April earnings from casino games online.

Land-based casinos also had a strong month
While brick-and-mortar casinos don't earn as much gaming revenue as NJ online casinos these days, they still did well in April 2026. The state's nine land-based casinos earned $235.6 million, an 11.7% increase from $211 million in April 2025.
As usual, the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa led the way with $67 million, with slot machines producing $47 million of this figure.
Hard Rock Atlantic City had the second-highest revenue in this category with $45.3 million, while Ocean Casino Resort was third with $36.6 million in gaming win. Sign up at BetMGM Casino NJ using the SPORTSLINE2500 promo code to get up to $2,500 in casino credits and 100 bonus spins:
Sports betting experiences a 12.8% spike
Sports wagering had the largest YoY increase among the main New Jersey gambling verticals. It earned $102.1 million in April 2026, marking a 12.8% boost from the $90.5 million collected in April 2025.
Ocean Casino was the winner here, earning $27.9 million through sports betting. Nearly all of this came from its betting app, which generated $27.8 million of that figure.Â
What to expect from NJ gaming revenue moving forward
Overall gaming revenue for the state was $600.8 million in April, representing 12% YoY growth. The state netted $86.1 million in taxes through another good month from gambling operators.
Looking at the numbers, online casinos should continue being the primary driver for gaming revenue. Real money online slots are a hit in the Garden State and don't show any signs of slowing down.
Despite being in a highly mature segment, brick-and-mortar casino revenue is on the rise. Sports betting continues to be a strong third earner for the state's gaming market.
