IGT and Everi to unveil new slots tech at G2E 2026

New Wheel of Fortune slots, Apple Pay and Venmo payments, and Class II mobile gaming highlight Everi's and IGT's offerings at the upcoming G2E.

Game developers IGT and Everi will unveil new games and technology at the 2026 Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas from Sept. 28 to Oct. 1. Among the most anticipated products being showcased are IGT's Lighting Rails and Everi's FinTech solutions, such as accepting Venmo at slot machines.

IGT released its first Wheel of Fortune slot in Las Vegas in 1996, continuing to produce new titles even today. In fact, our Wheel of Fortune slot machine online page discusses 13 different games in this franchise.

As reported by CDC Gaming, IGT will showcase the following new variants at G2E:

IGT CEO Hector Fernandez mentioned this iconic game show franchise along with some of his company's other innovations that will be on display:

"At G2E 2026, our customers will experience our transformation through a portfolio that connects every touchpoint of the player journey. From chart-topping games for the RISE32 and RISE55 cabinets to next-generation Wheel of Fortune Slots, IGT ADVANTAGE X systems and Everi FinTech solutions, we are creating a connected casino floor – one that reduces friction for operators, creates magnetic experiences for players and opens new possibilities for the entire gaming ecosystem."

Besides showcasing new Wheel of Fortune slots, IGT will unveil several other new releases on different cabinets. Headlining the group will be Lighting Rails and Split 'N' Win Link Boost, both housed in the RISE32 and featuring different coin denominations.

The RISE55 cabinet will also hold new games, including Dragon Power Sphere, Money Gong Divine, and Tiger. It's unclear if IGT will offer these games at the best online casinos, too, or just in land-based casinos for now.

Sharing Booth #4455 with IGT, Everi will concentrate its new showings on Class II mobile tech and land-based casino back-office capabilities.

Its Everi Vi product allows tribal operators to put Class II slots in players' hands. It also provides a turnkey solution for land-based establishments to offer casino apps to their customers.

Everi will also unveil next-generation video poker games, video lottery terminals, and Class II slot machines during G2E.

Teaming up with IGT Advantage X, this developer plans to show its direct-funding capabilities. Most notably, Everi's funding solutions include allowing direct payments using Venmo and Apple Pay.
