Hard Rock Bet Casino expands into Canada with Ontario launch

One of the fastest-growing real money online casinos in North America has widened its reach into Canada by entering the Ontario online casino market.

For the first time ever, Hard Rock Bet Casino is venturing outside the United States, as the regulated online casino operator announced its launch in Ontario – marking the brand's first entry into the regulated Canadian market.

As summer reached its peak, Hard Rock Bet became the latest real money online casino Canada operator to go live in Ontario, marking the company's first foray into an international market.

The largest and most-established province with legal iGaming, Ontario had already featured more than 80 sites offering regulated online casino games in Canada. With Hard Rock Bet Casino now operational in Ontario, eligible users could begin taking advantage of one of the deepest libraries of online slots, table games and live dealer titles – exceeding 3,000 games, according to a press release.

The Ontario platform complements Hard Rock Bet Casino's offerings in New Jersey and Michigan.

"Expanding into Ontario with Hard Rock Bet marks the first time we've brought our platform to an audience outside the U.S.," Marlon Goldstein, executive managing director and CEO of Hard Rock Digital, said in a statement.

"We're excited to introduce Ontario players to a premium entertainment experience that reflects the energy and service synonymous with the Hard Rock brand. And by investing in local talent, local partnerships, and localized customer support, we're creating an experience designed specifically for Ontario players."

While Hard Rock Bet Casino celebrates its Canadian debut, the operator may not be done expanding.

After all, just last month, the first private Alberta online casinos went live in the province, bringing a new era of legal online gambling to the region and joining Ontario as the only jurisdictions with open and competitive industries.

More than 20 Alberta online casino platforms are live in the province, including many of the most renowned and established brands such as BetMGM Casino and Caesars Palace Online Casino, among others.

However, Hard Rock Bet Casino is not part of that group. Now that the operator has launched in Ontario, though, it would not be surprising to see it expand west to join the nascent Alberta landscape.
