New multi-year agreement earns Fanatics NFL intellectual property
As part of the new deal with Fanatics Betting and Gaming, the company entered into a multi-year agreement that allows Fanatics to use the NFL's intellectual property. That includes league, team and event trademarks and terms.
In addition, Fanatics Sportsbook gains access to official league data through the NFL's exclusive data distributor, Genius Sports. The Fanatics apparel and merchandise business is already an NFL partner, a partnership that was extended earlier this year to include on-site retail sales at league events.
