FAIR BET Act stalls in U.S. House committee, Rep. Dina Titus still pushing
US Rep. Dina Titus shared that she will continue to press for a change to the current tax code regarding deductions for gaming losses.

The United States House of Representatives' Rules Committee has declined to advance an amendment to a defense funding bill suggested by Rep. Dina Titus (D-Nev.) that would amend the federal tax code to allow U.S. taxpayers to deduct all of their gaming losses from their personal income tax liabilities. Although Titus has stated that she will continue to push for the change, the matter is now in the hands of another House committee.
