The latest polling results from the American Gaming Association suggest good news for the operators of online casino sites for real money. Executives working for those companies are themselves part of the newest survey regarding legal casino games online and other facets of the gaming industry in the United States.

Poll shows increase in casino visitations

According to a press release from the American Gaming Association (AGA), a recent survey suggests that casino visits over the past year have increased. The same survey also polled respondents regarding their sentiments toward other aspects of gaming in the US.

The online poll, which the AGA commissioned, surveyed over 2,000 people who were at least 21 years old during the period of July 22-August 8, 2025. The results of the survey do not include the wording of the questions posed to the respondents.

The AGA highlights that over half of the respondents denoted that they have visited a physical casino at least once in the past year and states that those responses surpassing the 50% benchmark is a first. AGA data suggest that there have been 134 million visitors to casinos in the past year.

The AGA also says that support for legal sports wagering remains high among respondents, with 74% registering a favorable response. Similar favorable sentiments were recorded in the survey regarding awareness of responsible gaming messaging and preferences for legal gaming options.

Simultaneously, the AGA reported greater optimism about the gaming industry from executives who work to make offers like the Caesars Palace Online Casino promo code available to people in the U.S.

Industry execs point to increased activity for optimism

In a separate press release, the AGA says that its latest survey of industry executives showed the strongest positive sentiment since the third quarter of 2022, at a net positive of 7.1%. The release states that responses came from 27 "senior executives representing international and domestic gaming companies, tribal operators, equipment suppliers, and iGaming and sports betting firms."

Other data highlighted by the AGA includes an expectation for stronger business conditions over the next six to 12 months from 26% of respondents. The AGA says that is the highest such statistic in three years.

Among the factors behind these sentiments, the AGA cites rises in revenues, healthier profits, an uptick in consumer activity, and lower promotional costs. At the same time, the AGA also says that the survey reflects increased concerns regarding increases in regulatory costs, especially tax rate hikes.

The AGA, which is a trade group for gaming companies in the US, has released the results of its latest polling regarding consumer and executive sentiments about gaming in the US. The data could be of use to advocates for the industry in state legislatures and public relations firms working for gaming companies.
