Caesars casinos in Atlantic City donate $15,000 to nonprofits
Three Caesars Entertainment casinos in Atlantic City provided surprise holiday gifts for area nonprofits with a combined $15,000 in donations.

The holiday season is about giving, and Caesars Entertainment made the most of it through its three land-based casinos in Atlantic City. Three nonprofit organizations – the 200 Club of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, Headstrong Project and Brighton Avenue School – each received $5,000 from Caesars' trio of Atlantic City casinos: Caesars Atlantic City Hotel & Casino, Harrah's Resort & Casino Atlantic City and Tropicana Atlantic City Hotel. Caesars casinos give back to community nonprofits
The $15,000 donations, according to a press release, reflect the casinos' commitment to investing in and uplifting community organizations.
Gregg Klein, senior vice president and general manager of Tropicana Atlantic City, noted how the holidays can be a difficult time for families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty. That is a big reason why the property supports the 200 Club of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, which provides assistance to families of police, fire and rescue personnel who were injured or died while performing their duties.
Caesars Atlantic City, meanwhile, praised the work of the Headstrong Project, a mental health organization that uses funds to provide confidential and stigma-free PTSD treatment to veterans.
As Jacob Witmer, senior vice president and general manager of Caesars Atlantic City, put it: Mental health challenges don't pause for the holidays – and neither should those who can give back to nonprofits like the Headstrong Project.
Not to be outdone, Harrah's donated to Brighton Avenue School, which serves students from pre-K through fifth grade that will use funding to purchase warm clothing for students in need. While it may seem like a simple act, Harrah's senior vice president and general manager Joseph Giunta said, it is still a powerful one that can make a big difference.
Tax revenue from Caesars' NJ online casinos also provide local support
Caesars Entertainment has been giving back to New Jersey for years, and not just to local nonprofits.
The company's NJ online casinos have generated millions of dollars in revenue since the state first launched legal online casinos in 2013, with a bulk of that bottom line going back to the state in tax revenue that supports seniors and individuals with disabilities by providing financial assistance.
Caesars' top casino app, which new users can sign up with using the Caesars Palace Online Casino promo code, is a top-five performing online casino in the Garden State, which boasts around 30 apps. Most recently, Caesars Palace generated over $19 million in November revenue to help the industry set a single-year revenue record – more than $2.6 billion – with one month left in the calendar.
