Maybe just a bad matchup. Barcelona did dominate the first leg early, but Pau Cubarsí’s red card changed everything. The Catalans twice overcame two-goal deficits in last season’s UCL semifinals against Inter Milan before eventually falling in extra time. Barcelona lost the first leg in a bit of an embarrassing fashion after Pau Cubarsi was sent off with a first half red card. Even though they lost, they looked terrifying in that match and dominated all the stats including possession while a man down. Atletico Madrid will continue to park the buss in this second leg, and I don't think they'll be able to stop this Barcelona attack firing on all cylinders and desperate for goals.
