The Titans are looking for answers on offense after an 0-4 start, and one may be to take the foot off the gas with Pollard, who has played about 90 percent of the snaps this season. Pollard, who has a worse per-carry mark than he has had in any full season in his career, saw more than 80% of the snaps in three midseason games Tyjae Spears missed last year but his playing time dipped after he returned, and he only topped 45 yards in one of six games they both featured for the remainder of the season. Throw in potential gamescript issues and Pollard seems unlikely to get the 15+ carries he probably needs to cash this.

Trey McBride is the clear focal point of the Cardinals passing attack. He combines elite route participation with the ability to generate lots of targets. Kyler Murray has been inconsistent this season but I love this matchup for the Cardinals against a Titans defense that looks like a major pass funnel. The Cardinals haven’t been shy about throwing the football either, opponents are averaging 4% PROE against Tennessee. With the Cardinals backfield in shambles, I expect Arizona to lean heavily on their All-World Tight End.

Ward is forced to air it out … because his team is a** (as he put it). He has been the least efficient QB in the league, rocking the worst completion percentage and third-worst accuracy rate. As a result, the Titans have been trailing early and often through the first four weeks, leading to the 5th highest pass rate in the league. This week, Ward gets a Cardinals defense allowing the most pass attempts per game (42). All the signs point to another busy day through the air for Ward.
I've played what I saw as value on the Titans spread this year, but I'm done for now with this woeful offense. They've scored just three touchdowns in four games, while the Cardinals have allowed only seven, and three of those came in the Carolina game after they lost three cornerbacks to injury. Only three teams since 2000 have been under 4.1 yards per play for a full season and the Titans are at 3.66 after four games. With the Cardinals defense mostly playing well this year, I'll fade Tennessee to get to 17 points on the road.
