The Ravens have been on the struggle bus offensively scoring just 42 points over its last three games, all against lackluster opponents. Lamar Jackson was extraordinarily frustrated in a win (and cover) against the Browns last week. But it's not like things are any better for the Steelers, a team that's always boasted a strong defense yet has allowed a combined 82 points in its last two games. Jackson and Hollywood Brown looked rusty last week as both returned to action without much practice. That connection could open up this offense and create the running room Baltimore needs to find its offensive groove again.
The Steelers couldn't have looked worse in a 31-point loss last week, but I think we'll see a different team when they host their hated division rival after dealing with a ticked off Mike Tomlin all week. The most relevant stat: Favorites of three points or more in this rivalry are 1-13-2 ATS all-time. The Ravens have 11 players listed as questionable as several on defense are dealing with a non-COVID illness, and though they do have the best record in the AFC, they've won by more than three points in regulation just three times all season. Grab the points.
This is just too many points for a game between these two rivals in Pittsburgh. The Ravens offense is struggling, averaging just 14.0 points over their last three games. And the Steelers are most dangerous when they're being counted out. I'll gladly take all of these points.
The Steelers have done a number on Ravens QB Lamar Jackson in the past, and his rushing numbers have been substandard. Injuries dotting the Pittsburgh defense is a concern, but Baltimore’s O hasn’t been tearing it up with 42 points the past three weeks. The Ravens' last four road gigs have stayed Under. The Steelers’ offense, meanwhile, is a shadow of its former great self.
