The Over is 18-6-1 in Tennessee's last 25 regular-season games. The Titans have totaled 110 points in their last three contests against Baltimore, Indianapolis and Cleveland. Tennessee's offense ranks third in DVOA while the team is 28th on defense and 26th in points allowed per game at 27.2. Jacksonville will start Mike Glennon at QB for the third straight game. The Jaguars scored 25 points versus Cleveland and 24 versus Minnesota over the last two weeks. Jacksonville's defense ranks 24th in DVOA, 31st in yards allowed per play and 29th in points allowed at 29.3.
Weather will not be a factor in Jacksonville, and when these teams played Week 2 in Nashville there were 63 points scored. That obviously went Over the total, and Titans Overs are 9-2-1 this season and 18-3-1 with QB Ryan Tannehill starting in regular-season games overall since taking over for Marcus Mariota. On the flip side, the Jags have allowed at least 24 points in every game of their 11-game slide. The Over is 6-1 in the Jaguars' past seven division games as well.
The Jaguars offense has been serviceable with Mike Glennon at quarterback, and they'll have a good chance to be even better here against a defense that's last in third-down success rate, 31st in red-zone success rate and 28th in points per drive. The Titans offense has scored at least 30 points with at least 400 yards in three straight, and the defenses they faced are far more talented than this Jaguars unit. The Over is 9-2-1 in Titans games, only losing in the Week 1 field-goal disaster and the Bears game where the Chicago offense could do nothing on third downs. It should have no problem getting there again.
The Titans came back strong in the second half last week and I think it will carry over here against a poor Jacksonville defense. Facing the Jaguars, the Titans only have to focus on stopping James Robinson. Ryan Tannehill will light up this defense in a double-digit win.
