Philadelphia is starting to get healthy at the right time. Its offensive line right now ranks 22nd, up from 26th last week. The Eagles have a big advantage at QB with Carson Wentz over Daniel Jones, but the biggest is their 11th-ranked defense in DVOA, where the Giants rank 22nd. I have the Eagles almost six points better than the Giants. The Giants have covered their last three games, but their only wins are against Washington. The Eagles should be a team on the rise coming out of their bye with several key players looking like they're ready to return. All those injuries are a big season the Philadelphia offense has had issues this year, and when healthy this could still be an 9-win caliber team. The Giants, however, don't look anywhere near that level, with their only two wins nail-biters against Washington. The Eagles defense should have a field day, as they rank second in pressures per game while the Giants offense is worst in the league in that stat. That could mean a defensive score is in the cards, making it even easier to cover this number if the healthier offense can have any success.

The bye was embraced by Philly, which could welcome back several players who have been nursing injuries. The Eagles took the first meeting three weeks ago by a mere point but outgained New York by 117 yards. Even with their recent improvement, the Giants remain next-to-last offensively in points and yards per outing. New York has managed just one straight-up victory in the series’ 11 last games. Unless the opponent is from D.C., it hardly ever wins.
