It's hard to back a team that's looked as awful as the Jets, and that's why I'm not going to do it. New York will eventually cover a spread as the lines grow bigger, and this isn't a small one against an under-.500 team. But the Dolphins might actually be decent - they won two blowouts over the last three weeks, and have faced a tough schedule - and they've got a big advantage at head coach. Lay the points.

The Jets are a train wreck and Adam Gase has lost the team. New York has lost every game by at least 9 points. Look for Miami, highly motivated under Brian Flores, to harass the stationary Joe Flacco and win by double digits.

The Jets are a team in disarray, and a lot of it is because of coach Adam Gase. He has been unable to get more from his offense that just parted ways with a good player in Le'Veon Bell, who can help them win. Meanwhile, Gase's former team, the Dolphins, is playing some really good, competitive football. Even in some of their losses, the Dolphins look like they belong. They'll take care of business against New York.
