This is a spot in which I would normally take the Cowboys given their three-game losing streak and the Rams' sudden resurgence. But I also recognize this is a Dallas squad that has not beaten a "good" team all season and is 1-3 at home since October. LA travels well (4-2) , is getting healthy and seems to have found offense using the play action to set up Todd Gurley and a strong running game. I'm going against my normal trend here and taking the Rams now as a pick 'em, where I feel there's two points of value.
The Rams are getting healthy at the right time. RB Todd Gurley has carried the ball at least 19 times in three of their last four games. Los Angeles' defense has allowed 17 points or fewer in six of their last seven games and 12 or fewer in five of those contests. It has recorded 11 sacks in its last two games and ranks fourth in the NFL with 43. Dallas is 0-6 versus teams with a winning record.
The Cowboys are 4-0 against the NFC East, 2-7 against everyone else. Those wins came against the Josh Rosen-led Dolphins and the Jeff Driskel-led Lions. The Rams are back on track and should keep rolling here.
The Rams defense has been fantastic of late aside from when they faced the unique Ravens offense, and as a result they've cashed the Under in seven of their last eight games. The Cowboys look a bit lost after losing back-to-back games as favorites, and though their defense could make this Under look foolish on its own, I think the Rams offense might come back to earth a little bit this week after a couple of elite performances. This play is about trusting an Under team to do it again with a high total.
This total is a bit inflated, especially given the Rams' commitment to the run and Dallas' recent offensive struggles. Go Under.
The Rams just crushed Seattle, they had five sacks of Russell Wilson and Todd Gurley looks like his old self. Dallas is just not good right now. This is a huge game for the Rams; they have to keep winning to have a shot at the playoffs. Back L.A.
