The LA Lakers are coming off one of the top seesaw games of the season their last outing against the Dallas Mavericks. They were outscored by 21 points in the third quarter, but still came back and won by six points. The win can mask the lapses the Lakers had, and Monday they will face a Bulls team that has had the upper hand in the series. They’ve won three out of the last four matchups, including both last season. Grab the Bulls.

FanDuel. Rui Hachimura is rounding into form after a calf injury kept him out of action for seven games. Back up to 27-28 minutes over his last two games, it wouldn’t shock me to see him push past the 30-minutes threshold tonight, especially with Jake LaRavia questionable. Even if he still remains around 26-28 minutes, this is a very achievable line for Rui. The Bills play the at the league’s fifth fastest pace, while rating 24th defensively. Hachiumura is 7/8 on this line with just 24-34 minutes played, against teams in the top 15 of pace.

After being limited in his first four games back from injury, Rui Hachimura has played at least 27 minutes in three straight games. He scored at least 12 points in two of those matchups, including 17 points versus the Mavericks on Saturday. Hachimura is a good three-point shooter, which is noteworthy for this matchup because the Bulls have allowed the eighth-highest three-point shooting percentage in the league. With the potential for Hachimura to approach 30 minutes Monday, the over the way to go with this prop.
This has been a good past week for the Bulls, with four wins on the spin, and not against chopped liver either, with the Clips, T-wolves, and Celtics falling in the last three. Josh Giddey's recent return to active duty seems to have provided a lift, scoring 21 vs. the Wolves and then dishing out 10 assists in the win over Boston. Coby White has also been on a heater, scoring 22 or more in each win during the uptick. Meanwhile the Lake Show is off of a win at Dallas when Luka Doncic scored 33 vs. his old team, but most recent efforts have failed to convince, with LA usually unable to maintain defensive intensity save for brief stretches. Play Bulls.
