The big man has grabbed at least 14 rebounds in each of his last three games, and his rotation is up to 32-34 minutes. He’ll have a solid rebounding matchup against the Pelicans who allow the eighth most boards per game. In what should be a fast-paced affair, look for Davis to shine on the glass today.

There are some young teams in the NBA that have endured losing early in the NBA season, but are showing signs of promise. The Pelicans are one of those teams as they were once 3-22 and now have won four straight games. Having Zion Williamson back in the fold just makes the development of the young players more noticeable. Tail the Pelicans to grab their fifth straight win.

A small half unit risk here on Anthony Davis over his points prop. Davis is enjoying his first healthy month with Dallas here in December, where he has averaged 20 points. That’s elevated recently with three out of his lat four games scoring 24 or more points. A bonus tonight is his return to New Orleans where he began the first seven years of his career. The Pelicans have new life under interim coach James Borrego, who has gotten buy-in from Zion Williamson to come off the bench. They've won four straight, including a comeback victory over Houston, and covered five in a row. New Orleans is healthy except for Dejounte Murray's continued absence. Cooper Flagg (back contusion) is questionable for Dallas, which is a respectable 8-9 at home but 3-8 on the road.
