This is a big combination line for Harrison Barnes at this stage of his career. Barnes seemingly will get increased usage without Wemby in the lineup, however his splits with and without Wemby remain nearly identical.

The Grizzlies won't have Ja Morant (calf) or Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) when they visit the Spurs on Tuesday. That should mean substantial minutes for Vince Williams Jr. He's played at least 24 minutes in three straight games, averaging nine potential assists in that span. He finished those games with six, two and five actual assists. While he's unlikely to start, Williams will have the advantage of facing a San Antonio team without Victor Wembanyama.

It's safe to assume with Wemby's injury that Luke Kornet will probably start and have 25+ minutes. But going back to last season in Boston the under is 14-6 in games he played 25+ minutes and he averaged 10 RE+AST. We are projecting him for just 8.5. He is not someone who consistently gets 9, 10 or 11 in this situation. He'll have 1 in 22 minutes like he did on 11/12 vs the Warriors and then 12 in 28 minutes like he did two games later vs the Clippers. I'm also hoping that the team leaves plenty of minutes to other centers on the team like Kelly Olynyk who can provide the 3pt shooting threat that they lose with Wemby out.

Rookie Cedric Coward will get more opportunities to expand his role with the Memphis Grizzlies, with Ja Morant now out a minimum two weeks. Coward has had double digit scoring in nine out of his last ten games, despite a recent dip from beyond the arc. He takes on a Spurs team that is without Wemby, and also a team that has had several defensive lapses in their recent games. Take Coward’s over.
