DraftKings (-120). It’s hard to flesh out the Thunder role players, but the options are narrowed down with Jalen Williams out. Cason Wallace has been a reliable player for the Thunder, and has cleared this line in 15 of his last 20 games with just 22 minutes played. Against the Nuggets, Wallace replaced Williams in the starting lineup coming out of halftime, and I do think he’ll get the nod again today. Even if he doesn’t start, there’s enough usage left on the table without Williams for Wallace to clear this line.
I absolutely don't care about red-carpet stuff or the NBA walk-in regarding what the guys are wearing. But I just watched a questionable Jayson Tatum walk into TD Garden ahead of tonight's potential NBA Finals preview, and that didn't look like a guy who will sit. Unless he wears a chinchilla coat even when planning to. No Jalen Williams (the good one, not Jaylin Williams) for OKC and perhaps no Alex Caruso, either. Just feels like one of those games where the champs have to teach the up-and-comers a lesson like the Pistons did to MJ's Bulls for a while. Boston also scored a season low in points earlier this season in a loss in OKC. Yeah, the C's should be very motivated.

Jalen Williams left with a hip injury in the first half against Denver on Monday. Cason Wallace started the second half in his place and finished with 12 points and eight assists in 29 minutes. It was the fourth straight time Wallace dished out 4-plus assists when getting 28-plus minutes. Even if Wallace doesn't start, I like him to play big minutes and record at least three assists.
It's time to make some statements for the Celtics, as recent wins over Denver and the Lakers suggest; the Celtics are percolating again with five straight wins. We are assuming Jayson Tatum, who has been nursing a sore knee and was rested on Monday vs. the Jazz, will be available. The Celtics should shoot better from deep than the beyond subpar 8 for 46 in the first meeting that helped get them beat 105-92 at OKC on January 5. Meanwhile, the Thunder might have had some air escape from its balloon as its seven-game win streak was halted by a 140-point Denver blitz on Monday. Jalen Williams, who recently scored 41 vs. the Spurs, is due to sit out tonight (hip). Play Celtics.

Yes of course Shai Gilgeous-Alexander can top this huge number as SGA has been marvelous and if he throws up a 50 tonight and leads a win in Boston, the MVP race is probably over. But no Jalen Williams (21.3 PPG) for OKC, so the Celtics can basically focus their entire defense on SGA. Our model has him at 28.9 points. I may not play this side just so I can simply enjoy the game but that depends on the statuses of Jayson Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis.

This is a big number for Jaylen Brown who averages 23.3 PPG. It is also a very difficult matchup against an OKC Thunder squad that sports the best defense in the league, in addition to possessing an elite perimeter defense. I'm speculating a bit here that Jayson Tatum who is Questionable will suit up for this game. In the event Tatum is active, we could see this line drop to 22.5. If Tatum ends up inactive, the Thunder are still capable of holding Brown in check. Either way I'm willing to roll the dice.
