A team that has been hurt via injuries and trades over their last two games are the Golden State Warriors. They have lost to both the Utah Jazz and the Lakers, but that was a 24-hour period after a heavy trade losing three role players. Expect the addition of Jimmy Butler to ignite them at Chicago, even if Butler plays limited minutes. Lay it with the Warriors.

DraftKings. And playable to over 27.5. Josh Giddey has taken on a bigger role with the departure of Zach Lavine. This season, Giddey is 7 of 10 to the over without LaVine, including each of the last 4 games. Overall, he’s 22/36 to the over when he plays just 26 minutes this season. He’s up to 30+ minutes in each game since the Lavine trade, and looks to now have a solid minutes floor. It’s a good matchup for him against the Warriors who are well below average in rebounds allowed, assists allowed and spot up points allowed. Giddey had 30 PRA (with LaVine but without Coby White) in their last matchup.

Don’t read too much into Jimmy Butler averaging just 17.0 points per game for the season. He wasn’t motivated to play for the Heat anymore and was often passive as he tried to force his way out of town. Now a member of the Warriors and armed with a fresh contract extension, expect to see a highly motivated Butler down the stretch. The Bulls have played at the third-fastest pace in the league and have no interior defense, so look for Butler to get off to a great start with the Warriors.

Jimmy Butler apparently will make his Warriors debut vs. one of his old teams tonight in Chicago. No matter, Golden State hasn't been the most-reliable road favorites in the NBA, covering just one of its last six laying points away, as well as dropping five of their last six outright on the road. Fitting Butler into the mix with Steph Curry might not be an automatic thing, either, and note the Warriors are only 13-23 since Thanksgiving week. The Bulls got outscored by 26 in the second half of their 131-106 loss at Chase Center on January 23, but did show they could win minus Zach LaVine when rallying to beat the Heat on Wednesday in the first game after the trade. Not sure how you play props, but I generally wait until see all of the SL books fill out the numbers (have 6) and then sometimes one may have a two-point or rebound or assist difference and that's when I dive in. That weird number. Where is the value? When you get an oil change, don't you use a coupon? The same and not at all. Props take so much time otherwise -- way more than a game side or total, in my opinion. Why saying this? Normally would wait, but believe this is the apex (and too high) for Steph Curry. Jimmy Butler is expected to debut. So subtract a few shots from Curry and he's averaging 22.7 PPG as it is.
