It's an impressive run for the Griz, who have won three straight and nine of ten. Monday's win vs. the Spurs was achieved minus key G Desmond Bane. Bane remains out tonight and at some point, we wonder if his absence might have a negative impact. That recent Memphis mark has moved this price higher but we suggest that might prove a slippery slope for the Griz in what looms as a potential letdown spot. Quietly, the host Raptors have won and covered eight of their last eleven. Already this week, the Raps have beaten the Clippers and pushed the Knicks to the limit, as the emerging lineup featuring Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett, and Immanuel Quickley continues to impress. Play Raptors.

DraftKings. Zach Edey has been cooking recently. He’s cleared this line in 5 of the last 6 games (20+ points + rebounds in each over). He now gets a Raptors squad that he had one of his best performances against earlier this season (21 points and 16 rebounds). Toronto will also be without Jakob Poeltl, which leaves the Raptors without a decent matchup for the Grizzlies big man. Would also bet this up to over 18.5, or over 19.5 PRA.

Few teams play faster than Memphis and the Raptors are in the second of a B2B. Leading scorer RJ Barrett was a surprise rule out last night (so grateful for the backdoor Dinos cover) and already has been ruled out here. I could see a few others also getting the night off (also for possible trade reasons) but not rookie Gradey Dick. This number is better than 2 points below his season average. He had 14 points earlier this season vs. the Grizz but in only 25 minutes. I expect at least 30 minutes tonight barring injury, etc.

This is simply too big of a number for Luke Kennard who averages a combined 6.4 RA on the season. Kennard is likely to get a bump in minutes, however he's out there to shoot the basketball. I have him projected to play just 23 minutes and to combine for 5.5 RA. Lastly, Memphis is a 9.5 point favorite, creating some additional blowout potential. I also like fading his individual categories if you don't have access to his combo lines.
Raptors having to go back to back versus the breakneck Grizz will be a problem. Memphis is 20-11 ATS with one day off. They continue to cover like crazy and while the Raptors have lately too, give me the team that covers by winning vs. one trying to keep close. Raptors recent winning streak was vs. terrible teams almost exclusively. Raptors have played 11 games vs. top 5 teams and lost 10 of them; 8 of those losses are by 6+ points. They lost by 29 to Memphis. Avg MOD vs top 5 teams: 20.6. They will start suffering more lopsided losses soon enough as schedule intensifies. Tough to go against TOR when they cover so often but MEM 15-4 ATS vs. East.
