The Wizards are a trainwreck right now. Not only have they lost 15 straight games, but all of those losses came by at least nine points. With regards to this line, the Wizards lost nine of those 15 games by at least 14 points. The Mavericks have won nine of their last 10 games and have a mostly clean injury report for this matchup. Meanwhile, the Wizards have already ruled out Kyle Kuzma and Corey Kispert, while Malcolm Brogdon is questionable. Don’t expect the Wizards to be able to keep this close.

The Wizards are a must-fade right now for me. They have lost 15 straight games, all by at least 9 points, and are 3-12 ATS in that span. They have lost by 15 points or more 9 times in that sample and have failed to cover by double digits(!!) in 8 of those 15 games. Since somehow beating the Hawks in consecutive games WSH is 1-5 ATS at home, failing to cover by 16, 13.5, 15, 2 and 10.5 points. They are 3-10-1 ATS outside their division. Mavs are 9-1 ATS in last 10, looking like the juggernaut that did damage in the playoffs. They have covered 7 of those 9 games by 3.5 or more and are 4-1 ATS in last 5 on road.
